Long time, no talk! We are currently hard at work on the book. We are very excited to bring this game to you.
This update is a check in to let all our backers now that Backerkit will be sending out a survey very soon to confirm your pledges, rewards and assist with communication between our team and those that pledged to levels that allow input into the book.
Along with this, if you didn't pledge to the level of recieving a copy of Hero Too: Super Edition or pledged at all, you will now be able to preorder a copy of Hero Too: Super Edition from the Backerkit page. This will be slightly cheaper to purchase than when it is released on Itch.io fully.

Well we got here. I’ll be honest I felt a bit down during it at times. But we got to where we needed.

What comes next?
Right now, we need to wait for the money to come through. This will take a minimum of two weeks since yesterday. Potentially longer due to me being in another country that isn’t America.
Once that’s done, I pay my team and we’ll begin getting to work on the project.
Just realized I forgot to include the actual play of my game in the last post. Let me do that now. Here it is.
5K raised! Thank you so much to all of you for your support. With this first stretch goal reached, we will now be able to release each of the six arcs separately a piece. Thank you.
There is still our 6K stretch goal which will allow each member of the Kickstarter team to be paid a very deserving extra 50 euro on top of their current pay.
Which, on the subject of money, brings me to the second part of this update.
While we were upfront on the project page about what each part of the base goal went towards, we are aware that there may be questions on the money gained afterwards.
Any excess money not allocated in the page’s budget will be set aside to compensate members of the team who will be doing extra work that was in the air at the beginning of the Kickstarter.
This includes but is not limited to:
It is very important to me that the team is fairly compensated for their work. If the excess funds end up running dry, I will pay for the remaining costs out of pocket. Also, in the event excess funds are left over by the end of production, they will be split evenly amongst the team.

4 days to go and WE GOT THERE! I honestly have no words.
There were times when I felt crestfallen. But the team I have with me kept me working on this. And put that together with all your amazing pledges, we did it! Hero Too: Super Edition is going to happen.
This is the game I used to modify games I played to be like. This is the game that I wrote stories to be. This is the game that I always wanted to make. And now it’s going to be a reality.

We still have stretch goals!
If we manage to raise enough to reach €5000, we will release each arc contained within the book as a separate product. They will be marked down in price and allow those who can’t afford the whole book to buy them at a more manageable rate.
And if we manage to hit €6000, every member of the team will be paid an additional 50 euro on top of all other payment for the project. This team is phenomenal. I’ve seen more than one tweet call them all-stars and that is the full truth.
